When comparing flights to Huatulco or Puerto Escondido, include the ground transfer to Mazunte. Confirm the total fare, luggage and exact arrival point with your transport provider.

ADO · Check departures

By road from Oaxaca city

Oaxaca city connects to Highway 200 via the Barranca Larga–Ventanilla highway. At San Antonio, turn onto the road to Mazunte.

From Huatulco airport (HUX)

Transfers from HUX follow Highway 200 to San Antonio, then turn onto the local road to Mazunte.

From Puerto Escondido airport (PXM)

From PXM, follow Highway 200 toward Pochutla as far as San Antonio, then take the local turnoff to Mazunte.

Buses and connections

Check departures for San Pedro Pochutla with ADO and confirm the final connection to your accommodation. Local shared vehicles connect Mazunte, San Agustinillo, Zipolite, Puerto Ángel and Pochutla; ask about route and fare before boarding. Shared rides connect at San Antonio with a chivera (passenger pickup) or taxi into Mazunte.

Avoid return-trip surprises
