At its Puerto Ángel campus, Universidad del Mar announces the “Tejiendo Versos: Un Mar en tu Tinta” poetry contest, exhibitions by Rosendo Pérez Pinacho and Armando David Ruíz, a talk on the beginnings of diving in Puerto Ángel, a conference on the Pochutec language, the documentaries “Voces del Mar” and “Los Guerreros de la Música,” and the “El Sur en la Piel” performance.

The day includes painting by Jesseli Mendoza, Human Libraries, a purple-snail conservation talk, crafts from San Pedro Pochutla, Museo del Mar activities about marine wildlife, and a Son de Viento y Marea performance. The painting-exhibition card lists 9am in the Seminar Room; check the organizer's cards for each activity's time.

UMAR states that admission is free. These two days are part of the fourth Culture of the Sea Week, organized by Universidad del Mar with support from the federal Ministry of Culture through PROFEST 2026. Each activity has its own time and location on campus.
